Chas Bountra: Oxford professor discusses innovation in Medicine & climate change
Chas Bountra is a Professor of Translational Medicine at the University of Oxford and deals with how medicine starts from the laboratory until it reaches the patients. He believes that the challenges we face are universal. Through partnerships, humanity can move forward quickly and provide solutions to critical problems such as chronic diseases and climate change.
In conversation with Marco Veremis, he analyzes how technology has helped medicine make leaps of progress. At the same time, he explains why it is so difficult to deal with diseases shaped both by people's genetic predisposition as well as the environment in which we live.
